Say I Do 4.5⭐
Main Characters:
Benito Vitale
Harlow Hayashi
“Harlow was mine. That man, that demon, belonged to me in every single way.”
Benito was supposed to marry the daughter of the Yakuza, but due to unexpected circumstances, she’s replaced at the last minute by her twin brother, Harlow. Suddenly, two people who can’t stand each other are stuck in a marriage 😅😅 And honestly? I loved every second of it. Their dynamic screams Murder Husbands—one of my favorite tropes. They bicker like they’ve been married for decades, get on each other’s nerves, stab each other… you know, normal couple things 😉😉
Harlow is such an incredible character. From the moment he was introduced, he had my full attention. His antics during the wedding were hilarious 🤣🤣 He’s constantly pulling hidden knives out of nowhere, always ready for a fight. Fierce, dangerous, yet also loyal and surprisingly caring. Even though he was forced into this marriage, he refuses to be submissive to Benito—and I adored that. Over time, though, watching him reveal his softer side was beautiful 😍😍
“What I wanted was a quiet, calm housewife who wouldn’t interfere with my shit,” I snapped. I tossed back the rest of my drink. “Fuck! Instead, I get Giancarlo. On steroids.”
Meanwhile, Benito expected a quiet, obedient wife who would stay out of his way. Instead, he got a gorgeous, unhinged, knife-wielding man—and of course, he finds himself attracted to him. Benito has his own traumas to work through, but his chemistry with Harlow is undeniable 🔥🔥 And Harlow needed someone like Benito—a man who let him breathe and be unapologetically himself. Benito is a protector through and through—once Harlow became “his,” he was ready to tear down anyone who tried to hurt him. They were absolutely crazy together, but in the best way 💥💥
The appearances from other couples—whether teasing Benito or showing their support—were such a treat. And now I cannot wait to get Gianpaolo’s book! 🤩🤩
