Never Say Never 5⭐
Main Characters:
Gianpaolo Vitale
York Washington
“Mine. Everything that was York Washington was meant to be mine.”
Gianpaolo infiltrates the FBI to sabotage any investigation aimed at his psychopath brothers—but instead, he falls for the one person he can’t have: his boss, York Washington. After reading the second book, I’d been dying for Gianpaolo’s story. We didn’t know much about him before, so I was really excited to see how things would play out 🤩🤩
At first, I thought he was calmer and more collected than Giancarlo, but I quickly realized that wasn’t the case—Paolo is just as crazy as Gin 😅😅 The hardship of being undercover and away from his family was portrayed perfectly. It broke my heart to see how lonely Paolo was, especially how much he missed his twin. He hated being “Paul” and longed to be himself again 😭😭 And in the middle of his complicated life, he found York and the girls. They became the missing pieces of his world—and once Paolo realized that, nothing could stop him from claiming them as his own 😎😎
“York would willingly sacrifice himself for the world, but I'd burn the world down for him.”
York was such a well-written character—the exact type I love to read. I adored him just as much as Paolo did 😍😍 He was caring and kind, but not an oblivious fool. Even as he fell for Paolo, he never stopped questioning things. His choices and opinions when everything fell apart felt so realistic and reasonable to me. I hated seeing them separated and fighting, but it was necessary for their future together 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Now, let’s talk about the true matchmakers of this book: Navy and Nyra. I adore kids in stories—they always give a book a head start for me. Especially when they’re adorable little menaces. Nyra and Navy were exactly that. They were the cutest, and from the very first moment, they loved Paolo unconditionally. They never doubted his love for them or for their father 💖 💖
Oh, and I almost forgot—Paolo has a quirky naming habit, just like Gin. But instead of his hammer, he names his baseball bats. No DNA test needed—those two are definitely twins 🤣🤣
This book was everything I hoped for and more. Absolutely perfect. A must-read. Please pick it up—you won’t regret it.
