Moonstruck 5⭐
Main Characters:
Atticus Mulvaney
Jericho Navarro
“Do you think I want anybody else? Nobody compares to you, Freckles. You are this weirdly perfect combination of impenetrable and vulnerable and I can’t fucking get enough of it.”
Fate has a twisted sense of humor — imagine finding your soulmate when you both show up at the same cabin… to kill the same man 😏😏😂😂
This third book tells Atticus’ story — the eldest Mulvaney brother, the perfectionist doctor who never embraced killing the way his siblings did. Maybe he’s not even a psychopath? 🤔🤔
Then comes Jericho 🤤🤤 A killer, yes, but not a psychopath — a vigilante who’s devoted his life to protecting his makeshift family of young gay men abandoned by society. They’re his boys, and he’ll do anything to keep them safe 😎😎 Flirty, cocky, and perpetually smirking, Jericho is unapologetic to the core. Yet beneath that swagger, he’s fiercely protective and surprisingly tender — the kind of man who can make you laugh in one breath and set the world on fire for the people he loves in the next.
"He'd never thought of himself as same-sex oriented, but there was no denying he was Jericho-sexual. He just did it for him in every way."
The connection between Atticus and Jericho is instant, passionate, and consuming 🔥🔥 What I loved most was Atticus’ journey into submission. He’s the polished doctor with money, looks, and prestige — but he’s never known who he truly is. With Jericho, he finally lets himself go, and we get to witness that beautiful, vulnerable self-discovery 😍😍 Jericho was the perfect example of how kindness and consideration don’t make men any less strong or attractive — I was melting reading him 😭😭
“Was Atticus really a psychopath, or had nobody taken the time to try to love him?”
…Excuse me while I go fling myself in front of a bus, Gina Linetti style. 💀💀 That line hit hard. Atticus always felt like an outsider in his family of psychopaths, and it broke my heart 🥺🥺 I’m so glad Jericho saw him for who he was and loved him completely. Bless Noah for encouraging Atticus to go after Jericho 🙏🙏
The Mulvaney gossip mill? Priceless 🤣🤣 The hints about Thomas and Aiden having the hots for each other… Also — Felix and Avi. The back-and-forth between them, the flirting… their book is going to be hilarious 🤣🤣 Apparently Jericho’s boys have their own books too. Once I finish the Mulvaneys, I’m absolutely reading those 😊😊
One of the most brilliant things about this book is how Jericho and his boys clash with Thomas’ ideals. Their presence really made me question Thomas’ motivation for gathering the Mulvaneys in the first place, and I loved that conflict of morals 👏👏
What an incredible book. Honestly, I shouldn’t even be surprised anymore — they just keep getting better. If you love "Murder Husbands" Trope don't miss this book
