End It All 4⭐
Main Characters:
Blake Vitale
Quincy ----
”The family you’re trying to enter isn’t some vigilante group that fights for justice. They take what they want, own what they see fit, and kill anyone who gets in their way."
This book is about the long-lost Vitale brother, Blake, and how he adapts to the new world he suddenly finds himself in. I really liked this story, but I also have a few complaints.
Blake himself was sweet and considerate, and I enjoyed watching him start to build relationships with his brothers 🥰🥰 That said, I don’t think it was explored deeply enough. Part of the problem, for me, is that Blake’s introduction felt like a surprise to the authors as well. If that wasn’t the case, we probably would’ve seen hints of his existence earlier. Because of that, when he suddenly appeared out of nowhere, one book didn’t feel like enough time for him to realistically earn the Vitales’ trust—especially since they’re usually so cautious about who they let in. Their easy acceptance of Blake just didn’t ring true. Still, even if it wasn’t perfect, I enjoyed every interaction he had with them 😊😊
”I can’t live without you, and now, I can’t die without you either.”
Quincy was a great love interest. Since we first met him back in the third one, it was nice to finally learn more about him here. I really enjoyed how his relationship with Blake developed, though I did have one small issue: it felt a little odd that Blake ended up being the top after saying he’d always been a bottom. Quincy, meanwhile, gave off much stronger top vibes, so the dynamic felt slightly mismatched 🤔🤔 It wasn’t a major problem, just something that stood out to me.
Despite these little complaints, Blake and Quincy together were absolutely adorable 😍😍 I loved watching Quincy slowly open up to Blake, and seeing how Blake cared for him in return. They were so sweet, and their softer moments easily made up for any mismatched vibes.
My bigger issue was with the attempt to redeem Caesar. I don’t like that man, and I have no desire to read his book 😠😠 And yet—I already know I’ll still pick it up. Not because I want to read his story, but because I want to see more scenes with the other couples.
In the end, none of these complaints stopped me from enjoying the book overall. If you’ve read the first four, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.
