Eudlo station first opened in 1891 when the section of the North Coast Line from Landsborough to Yandina opened. There have been a number of unfortunate incidents near the site of Eudlo likely to be due to the tight curve to the south of the station. In 1911, a railway worker who was riding a tricycle was struck by a train. While the tricycle was "smashed to atoms" the worker was not seriously injured. In 1912 two trains collided which resulted in one derailing. No one was killed or seriously injured in the incident. In 1924, two wagons of a goods train derailed which thankfully no one was killed or injured.
In 1931 a wagon that was carrying petrol derailed. It was fortunate that there was little damage and the wagon was able to be placed onto the tracks with the aid of jacks and sent back on it's way with only a half an hour delay. Then in 1933, there was a collision between the Townsville Express and a goods train resulting in the derailment of the parlour car and the sleeping cars of the passenger train. No one was seriously injured or killed in the accident.
On 2 September 1939, a freight train collided with a passenger train waiting at Eudlo as a result of a points failure. The firemen of the freight train saw that the train would collide who was killed by a wagon that overturned onto him. There were fourteen other rail crew and passengers injured in the accident. In 1942, eleven wagons smashed when an axle broke.
In 2009, the platform was extended with scaffolding and plywood materials. This is only a temporary measure until a permanent structure is put in place. Prior to this people disembarking at Eudlo had to from the first three carriages only.
Eudlo station is named after the homonymous village of Eudlo which was named after the local Aboriginal term for the "fresh water eel".
The station itself consists of only one platform which is used for services travelling in both directions. To allow passing opportunities there is a passing loop across from the platform.
Eudlo station only has one station entrance from the Rosebed Street side of the station.
Eudlo station does have disability access however assistance is required due to the steep ramp at the station entrance.
There is a bus stop outside the station on Rosebed Street. It is served by the 649 Caboolture to Nambour railbus which supplements the train timetable.
