The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Organization of Eastern Bacoor National High School was officially established on June 27, 2024, marking the beginning of a new era of preparedness and student leadership within the school.
The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Organization of Eastern Bacoor National High School (EBNHS) was officially established on June 27, 2024, following the participation of the school’s SDRRM Team in an Occupational First Aid and Basic Life Support (SBR) Training. This event marked the beginning of the organization’s mission to strengthen preparedness, safety, and resilience within the school community. During this period, selected Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers were appointed as SDRRM officers, formally initiating the legacy of what is now known as the SDRRM Family.

Under the guidance of Mr. Alfredo N. Sarabusab, School Head and SDRRM Chief, and Mr. Jerico D. Castillo, Head Teacher III and SDRRM Deputy Chief, the organization began to carry out various activities and initiatives aligned with DepEd Order No. 33, s. 2021, which emphasizes the Comprehensive School Safety (CSS) Framework.
During Disaster Resilience Month, the SDRRM Organization actively participated in the Schools Division Office of Bacoor’s DRRM Competitions and Activities, demonstrating excellence, teamwork, and commitment to disaster preparedness. Their outstanding performance earned multiple achievements, including:

1st Place – Reels-ilience Competition
Best in Bandaging and Transfer Relay – RESCUELYMPICS 2025
Champion – Spoken Word Poetry Competition
Since its inception, the SDRRM Organization of Eastern Bacoor National High School has remained steadfast in fulfilling its mission to promote a culture of preparedness and resilience among students and staff. Through its programs, trainings, and competitions, the organization continues to empower learners to become proactive advocates of safety and disaster awareness. Guided by its motto, “Prepared today, safe tomorrow,” the SDRRM Organization stands as a symbol of unity, service, and dedication to the welfare of every Easternian.
