In some cases, there is a need to split the tournament into different groups to provide every player a chance to play few matches (say min of 3 matches if there are 4 teams in each league tournament) on the tournament day. ScoreTally supports such a format too. An example of such a format is given below:
You start with multiple League tournaments (say GroupA & GroupB)
Top 2 teams of the League tournaments will play next knock-out round (Single Elimination KO1).
If needed, more knock-out rounds can also be conducted. For example: Top 4 teams move to knock-out round1 (KO1) tournament and bottom 4 teams move to knock-out round2 (KO2) tournament.
With a tournament format like above, you can give all players more matches. Every team will play at least all their matches in the League tournament. Top skilled players will move to knock-out round and play more competitive matches.
How to conduct such a tournament using ScoreTally?
