You can conduct a tournament in league format. There are couple of different types of league formats:
ONE OR TWO PLAYERS IN A TEAM / ONE MATCH PER SET: Teams consist of 1 player (singles tournament) or 2 players (doubles tournament) and matches are scheduled so that all teams play one another at least once. A match-set between 2 teams will have only one match in it. Match can be best-of-1 or best-of-3. Winner gets 1 point.
FOUR+ PLAYERS IN A TEAM / FOUR MATCHES PER SET: Teams consist of 4 or more players and match-sets are scheduled so that all teams play one another at least once. A match-set between 2 teams will have 4 matches in it. A player can play only 2 matches in a match-set. Each match can be best-of-1 or best-of-3. Winner (team) of a match gets 1 point. So, there are 4 points to be taken in every match-set (4 matches).
Once all the scheduled matches are completed, the team with the maximum points win the tournament. To add some climax to it, you could go ahead with:
a final match set between top 2 teams of the league
two semi-finals and a final among the top 4 teams of the league

Team and player data can be entered one by one from the app or from a file (see template files below).
To add teams and players one by one, you (super user) can do it from the app. See the screenshots below. This needs to be done after creating the tournament.
Team and player data can also be entered from a file (microsoft excel .xls file or plain text).
If excel (.xls) file, then the first row of the file may have headers and the rest of the rows can be have team/player data. See example 1 below.
If plain text file (supported from app release 4.0.0 onwards), then each entry should be of the below format. Entries starting with "#" are considered as comments and are ignored. See example 2 below.
First row of the excel sheet should have the headers like below:
| TEAM NAME | P1 NAME | P2 NAME |
On the League tournament page, Click "schedule" to take you to League Tournament Scheduling page.
On the scheduling page, you can see all the matches (if the fixture is created as above). To schedule all the matches, click on schedule button next to the first match.
You could also schedule individual matches.
Pick the date & time. Enter court numbers allocated for this tournament category.
Optional: Uncheck "all the following matches" if you want to schedule only one match.
Optional: Check "Reset Schedule" to undo all the previous scheduling.
Once the matches are scheduled (like you see on left), you can go back to main Tournament page and choose "Courts View" to see matches in chronological order per court. Please see Courts View section in Elimination tournament page.
Tip: By default, League matches are sorted by Match ids (MS1, MS2, ...). When all the league matches are automatically scheduled (by checking "all the following matches"), matches are scheduled randomly avoiding conflicts for any team. Also, any matches already completed or already scheduled are ignored.
So, if you are trying to tweak the scheduling, then you should schedule individual lower matches (lower in the match-id order) first.
Example1: Take the auto-scheduling done to the left. Here, matches start at 12:40pm in two courts (2 & 3). Last match is played at 13:55pm.
Now, say that you have court-1 free at 12:15pm and you want to schedule one of these matches there. You can just re-schedule MS6 match to be scheduled at 12:15pm on court-1. Note that you have to uncheck "all the following matches" for this step.
Example2: Take the auto-scheduling done to the left. Here, matches start at 12:40pm in two courts (2 & 3). Last match is played at 13:55pm.
Now, say that you have court 1 free at 10:00am for 3 matches and you want to schedule the last 3 matches (MS8/9/10) in court-1. You could do the below:
Reset the current schedule first.
Click schedule button for MS1 and "Reset Schedule" for "all the following matches".
Schedule matches MS8/9/10.
Click schedule button for MS8 and schedule "all the following matches" for Court-1 starting at 10:00am. This will schedule MS8, MS9 and MS10.
Schedule all other matches.
Click schedule button for MS1 and schedule "all the following matches" for Courts 2,3 starting at 12:40pm. This will schedule all matches starting from MS1 except for MS8, MS9 and MS10.
Tip:
Best way to enter score on the tournament day is from Courts View. From Courts View, you can see the next match on any court. By just clicking on the match entry in the Courts View, you will do directly to "Enter Score" page of that League tournament. See Courts View.
Click "Schedule" button
Click Settings (3 dots on top-right) on Schedule page
Click "Export pdf"
Pdf file will be generated in Documents/ScoreTally/ folder.
Refer details in Elimination Tournament page.
Super user can broadcast a message to all the other app users. This can be done from the main club page, by selecting settings (three dots at the top right corner) and then "Broadcast News". Once you type in your club news and click "broadcast", all the app users will see this "Club News" when they use the app next time.
