An online workshop on "Canva Magic Studio for Automated Design Creation" was successfully conducted on April 3, 2026, as part of the AI for Software Development Program. The session was led by Satish Shende, Satara, with the objective of introducing students to the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in modern design and software development.
Around 40 Computer Diploma students from the districts of Kolhapur, Sangli, and Satara (Western Maharashtra) actively participated in the workshop. The event focused on helping students understand how AI-powered design tools can improve creativity, productivity, and workflow automation.
During the hands-on training session, participants explored Canva Magic Studio and learned how to create professional-quality social media posts, presentations, posters, marketing materials, and other visual content using AI-assisted features. Students also gained practical experience with prompt-based design generation, AI-powered image editing, automated content creation, background removal, Magic Resize, and other advanced features that simplify the design process.
In addition to learning Canva Magic Studio, the workshop emphasized the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in Software Development. Students were introduced to AI-driven workflows, productivity enhancement techniques, and the importance of integrating AI tools into their academic projects and future careers.
Speaking on the occasion, Satish Shende encouraged students to continuously upgrade their skills by learning emerging AI technologies. He highlighted that AI is transforming every industry and that software developers who understand AI-powered tools will have a significant advantage in the job market.
The interactive workshop received an enthusiastic response from the participants, who appreciated the practical demonstrations and real-world examples. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, where students clarified their doubts and discussed various AI applications relevant to software development.
