Trichy, November 5-6, 2024 – Satish Shende, a prominent Technology and Entrepreneurship Trainer, attended the prestigious National Master Class Conference on Gender Innovation and Enterprise Promotion held in Trichy. The two-day event brought together an impressive cohort of 300 participants, including representatives from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), women entrepreneurs, policymakers, funding agencies, academia, and other business development agencies.
The conference was part of the European Union-supported project, ‘Gender Enabling Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship CSOs for Climate Ventures (GENIE)’, aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in gender-inclusive entrepreneurship with a focus on climate ventures.
The event served as a national-level platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and leveraging expertise among diverse stakeholders. Over the course of the program, participants engaged in discussions and workshops on promoting gender equity in entrepreneurship, driving innovative solutions for climate-related challenges, and strengthening enterprise promotion frameworks across sectors.
Speaking about the experience, Satish Shende emphasized the importance of such initiatives in driving sustainable and inclusive growth. “This conference underscores the critical role of gender equity in innovation and entrepreneurship. By uniting policymakers, entrepreneurs, and support organizations, we are fostering an ecosystem that empowers women and drives impactful climate solutions,” he remarked.
