The students will use the internet and my provided information to research cultural topics about the Incas. After investigating the Internet links within the Web lesson, you will be required to write a composition and/or answer questions based on the content from the persepctives of the Inca themselves.
INCA Multiple IntelligProject:
PICK 2 to show what you know or can learn about the Incas:
1. Linguistic: Write a narrative about a young boy who lives in Machu Picchu that includes at least 5 historical buildings in Machu Picchu.
2. Logical/Mathematical: Create a timeline of Inca History (10 events minimum). Include 5 images that you draw or cut out.
3. Spatial: Create a map of Inca Empire at its largest. Locate at least 5 cities or sacred sites, show the geography (at least 5 landmarks), and be sure to include color!
4. Musical: Create an Inca beat or rhythm (at least 8 measures).
5. Body-Kinesthetic: Build Machu Picchu with sugar cubes.
6. Naturalist: Create a collage of pictures of nature that represent the Inca Empire.
7. Interpersonal: Interviewer and interviewee…find a partner and create an interview that you then perform. The interview must show what you know about the history, geography, and or government of the Incas (or other cultural universals). (10 questions/answers minimum)
8. Intrapersonal: Pick an emperor. Write their biography.
