This library was created to connect people with the understanding of their learning process. Located in the Highland district of Denver, it caters to many young professionals as well as any avid academics. Through the process of GATHERING information, CONSUMING the material, and REFLECTING upon the knowledge, one would be able to proceed through the library and come to a better understanding of their own learning process. This building relied heavily on memory recall and phenomenological factors within the architecture that leads people to a higher level of acknowledging their shortcomings and learning how to heighten their awareness of the world around them.
The users would enter and be guided by lightrods to gather the books needed for their research. They would then be able to sit and read within the bookshelves themselves or semi-transparent glass study areas on the east side of the building. From there, they can travel to the catwalk above the main floor and write on the glass wall about their thoughts and feelings before they exit the building through the outdoor patio.
