By using Photoshop and Lumion, these were created to show the sweeping moves architecture can utilize to frame the views we see everyday. The way the sun lightly dances off the rough cor-ten invites the user to view the structure from all angles. The renders highlight the planes that make up the objects, juxtaposing the landscape around it. They reach out gingerly towards the water's edge.
The dock reaches out, beckoning the viewer to move forward. Slowly the roofs glide by only interrupted by the planes that hold them in place.
The light casts a soft orange glow upon the three entrances, one to a room, one to the water, and one to the view. Light trickles down through the breaks in the planes, pushing its way further inside.
Fog softly touches the water as it hovers, gently over the surface. Slowly it will move towards the planes of steel just as the water washes upon the land. Each touch of nature is delicate and intentional.
Light streams through the window as it embraces the seat. The sun dances and glimmers over the water as a soft hush of the waves can be heard from inside.
Standing at the threshold between spaces, a pull is created to move towards the shimmering water's edge. The lines pull you forward towards the light.
A seat of privacy is perched on the edge of the volume. The fog around settles as everything points out beyond the point of view.
