ABSTRAK

Isa sa mga di-matatawarang ambag sa agham-pisika at astonomiya ang aklat ni Stephen Hawking na A Brief History of Time na inilimbag ng Penguin Ramdom House. Malaki ang naging ambag ng aklat upang maunawaan ng publiko ang tungkol sa simula ng kalawakan, pagsilang ng mga bituin at galaxy, gayundin ang tanong kung posible ba ang black holes. Ngayong nakumpirma na ng mga siyentipiko ang pagkakaroon ng black holes at maging ang biswal na imahe nito, maituturing na penomenal ang tuklas at diskursong hatid ni Hawking sa komunidad ng mga siyentipiko at publiko. Mithiin ng aklat na mapagtanto natin kung ano ang kumpletong nagkakaisang teorya na maglalarawan sa kabuuan, simula at wakas ng ating kalawakan at kung ano ang implikasyon nito sa ating buhay ngayon at sa hinaharap.

ABSTRACT

One of the most important books contributing to our knowledge of physics and astronomy is Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time, published by Penguin Random House. The book makes a significant contribution to the public’s understanding of the origin of the universe, the birth of stars and galaxies, and questions pertaining to the possibility of black holes. Now that scientists have confirmed the existence of black holes and its visual images, this is a phenomenal discovery and discourse ushered in by Hawking to the scientific community and the public. The goal of the book is for us to discover the complete unified theory that describes everything, from beginning to the end of the universe and its implications to our lives today and in the future.
