To understand square roots we must first learn about square numbers. Square numbers:- They are the numbers that are the square of another number.
Properties of square numbers:-
Any number having 0,1,4,5,6,9 in its unit place has is a square number. Ex:- 125, 100, 169 etc...
Squares of even numbers are always even and squares of odd numbers are always odd.
Square root:- It is the inverse operation of squaring and its symbol is √ . We can find the square root in three ways:- 1. Prime Factorization method, 2. Division method, 3. Estimating it. The Prime factorization method is easy to use when they are small numbers, and the division method is the best way to solve big numbers or decimals. To solve decimal numbers using the division method, you just need to ignore the decimal and add it later after solving the whole thing.
