Integers

In the chapter on Integers, we will learn to subtract, add, multiply and divide integers. Integers are nothing but positive numbers (whole numbers and natural numbers)and negative numbers altogether. They also have four properties:

• Closure Property: a+b = c, a-b = c, a*b = c, a/b = c

• Commutative Property: a+b = b+a, a*b = b*a

• Associative Property: a+(b+c) = (a+b)+c, a*(b*c) = (a*b)*c

• Distributive Property: (a*b)+(a*c) = a*(b+c), (a*b)-(a*c) = a*(b+c)
