If two or more parts of a figure are identical after folding or flipping then it is said to be in symmetry.
They are three types of symmetry:
Line Symmetry
Rotational Symmetry
Reflection Symmetry
Symmetry is very easy to understand with a picture or by drawing it. For example, to understand Rotational symmetry you must understand at which angle it is being turned. To understand line symmetry, you must draw lines at different angles and see if they are symmetric or not.
