We shall begin our journey by leaving here early morning on Friday 3rd September, staying overnight in the very north of Scotland (costs not included and details TBA).
Saturday 4th September we will carry on our journey in order to get to the ferry terminal at Scrabster Nr Thurso for the 12.00 lunchtime crossing. We should arrive into Stromness (Orkney Isles) for around 1.30pm. We will not be taking cars over but leaving them on the mainland.
Diving Kit is usually stored in a large box container for the crossing.
The return journey will see us leave Stromness Saturday 11th on the 09.00am ferry crossing, arriving back into Scrabster on the mainland at around 10.30am.
In the past we have just drove back to Northampton, without an overnight stay arriving back around 9.00pm
It is up to you if you decide to stop over on the way back home.
Please note that any member who wants to make payments towards the trips can do so, rather than pay in one go.
