Confirmation Practice & Ceremony Information

CONFIRMATION PRACTICE 2026

DATE: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19th, 2026

TIME: 5:30pm-7:00pm

PLACE: St. Max Kolbe Church

ALL Confirmandi should arrive to the Church no later than 5:30pm.

ALL Sponsors should arrive to the Church no later than 6:15pm

CONFIRMATION CEREMONY 2026

DATE:  SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21st

Time: 10:00am

PLACE:  St. Maximilian Kolbe Church

CONFIRMANDI ARRIVAL TIME:  9:15am.

CONFIRMANDI ARRIVAL/DROP OFF LOCATION:  St. Max School main entrance, to the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).  

SPONSOR'S SEATING TIME:  Sponsors should all be seated in their pews by 9:45am

DRESS CODE:  Students should wear dress clothes and dress shoes under their robes.  If a jacket/coat is worn, it will be left in the MPR.  It will have to be picked up after the ceremony.  

ROBES:  Students can arrive with their robes on, or they can arrive with their robes on a hanger and put the robe on once arriving in the MPR.  

9:55am PROCESSION TO CHURCH FROM SCHOOL:

Students will begin processing down to the church from the school at 9:55am.  They will walk across the back of the parking lot and down the center steps of the parking lot this year.  They will walk down in two lines.

PARKING:  The parking lot fills up early and is at a premium.  The later you arrive, the further away you will have to park.  

PHOTOS WITH THE BISHOP:  After the Ceremony, individual family photos of with the Bishop will be taken in the Chapel.  Please enter the Chapel from the Church and exit the by the door leading directly to the Narthex.   The Bishop requests one photo per family (if multiple people take pictures, do you best to take them at the same time).
