The Rural STEAM Leadership Network is building rural leadership so that rural teachers are leading the conversations and professional development that is relevant to their region and students. This is done in part by offering annual Learning Facilitation Institutes - both virtually and in person - to provide educators strategies and tools to build their adult facilitation skills.
The model for building regional teacher leaders is based on the work of the Oregon Science Project which led Oregon's Rural NGSS Rollout from 2016-2019.
