Postdoctoral

We have three active research seminars meeting weekly: the Geometry, Physics, and Representation Theory (GPRT) Seminar, the Geometry, Algebra, Singularities, Combinatorics (GASC) Seminar, and the Geometry and Analysis Seminar. Recently we started a new event, the ''BC-Northeastern Algebraic Geometry Conference'' AGNeUBC jointly with the Algebraic Geometry group at Boston College, meeting twice a year. We plan to continue and expand on this in the next few years. In the Fall 2017 a new seminar ''Pick my Brain'' has been created and organized by our current postdoctoral fellows.

On Wednesdays, we hold RTG postdoc lunch, with the goal of enhancing communication, mentorship, and community. Group members are able to keep in touch mathematically, as well as receive advice on issues related to life at Northeastern, and early-career questions about life in mathematics, strategies for publishing papers, teaching and others. 

Finally, we plan to organize a large RTG conference in 2022; see here for more details.
