YOU MUST BE ON THE FALL ROSTER TO BE ADDED TO THE CLASS

CLASS SCHEDULE:
The Fall 7th Period Track/PE Class will be held weekly, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Workouts on days that there is no school, will be decided prior to the date. Minimum days will have workouts after school.
THIS IS A CLASS AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A GRADE FOR THE CLASS. Attendance is mandatory. Attendance will be a portion of your final Fall Semester grade. Participation in the class will also be graded. We will have a written Fall Semester Final Exam. More information on the Final Exam will be given during the semester.
ROLL CALL:
Coach Valadez will begin Roll Call PROMPTLY at the start of class (see schedule above). All athletes will be expected to be dressed in their workout clothes/shoes and seated in the stadium, in their assigned location. Roll Call location will be in the West side section of the home stands. You will have plenty of time to get dressed and seated in the stadium for roll call. BE EARLY. On time is LATE.
WHAT TO BRING TO PRACTICE:
Attire: T-shirt/Tank top, shorts, socks and running shoes are the required attire for practice on a daily basis. Girls: sports bras can be worn, but you will be required to wear a t-shirt/tank top over it. If you are injured, you will still need to dress out for practice (depending on your injury, you can do CORE or weight room workouts)
WATER: Bring a full water bottle to practice. DO NOT CHUG water right before practice. Hydrate throughout the day.
We will be using the Strava App to track "on your own" running workouts.
Go to your cell phones app launcher (iPhone - App Store, Android - Google Play Apps) and download the Strava App.
Create an account (FREE ACCOUNT ONLY) for yourself.
Go to (Groups - Clubs) and join "Royal Highlander Track" (Team Winged "R" logo).
Participation in "on your own" workouts will be part of your class grade.
