2026 Winter All Comers Meets

2026 Royal HS Track and Field Athletes Message

We will be participating in several All-Comers Meets this Winter. Your coaches will be using the times/marks to assess what events and what level you will be competing at.

You will compete as an unattached athlete. The entry fee for each meet varies (average is $10-$15 per athlete - unlimited events). You will be responsible for the entry fee.

You will also have an opportunity to qualify for the California Winter Championships, at Arcadia HS, in February. The team will pay for the entry fee at the Winter Championships, if you qualify.

ALL ROYAL ATHLETES WILL COMPETE AT OUR ALL COMERS MEET. If you are injured, you will be required to help out at the meet.

Transportation to the All-Comers meets will be Self/Parent Transport
You will have to pay the entry fee (varies from meet to meet). Normally $10-$12 entry fee and you can enter as many events as you want.
NO UNIFORMS SHALL BE WORN AT ALL-COMERS MEETS. You can wear team/school gear or practice gear.
You'll need spikes for these meets.

2026 California Winter Championships

For those who want to, can try to qualify at a CA WC Qualifier Meet. The 2026 California Winter Championships will be held at Arcadia High School.

In order to qualify for the 2026 California Winter Championships, you MUST achieve a qualifying mark at a sanctioned qualifier meet (see below).

You'll need to pay the $12-$15 entry fee for the qualifier meet (per meet). You may attend as many qualifier meets as you want.
Self/Parent transportation to the qualifier meet(s).

Once you qualify for an event(s), you will be required to pay a $25/event fee for the California Winter Championships AT THE MEET YOU QUALIFY AT.
- You will receive a numbered bib (that's your ticket to get into the February 12th meet, at Arcadia HS.
- The Team will pay for/reimburse you for the cost of entering the Championship meet (if you qualify at Simi HS, or a meet Coach Valadez is at, he will pay the $25 entry fee for you and collect your entry bib)
