To be considered for the League Finals Meet, an athlete finish the regular season in the League Top 27, in laned events (per division) or Top 36 in distance and field events. Time/mark in an event must be at a League Meet or in an Invitational.
An athlete cannot compete in multiple levels at a dual meet (ie: Varsity and JV in one meet). An athlete cannot compete in multiple levels at League Finals.
League meets, most Invitationals and CIF Championship meets include the following events:

Friday, May 2, 2025 - League Finals - Moorpark HS
The published standards are the MINIMUM standards required for meet entry considerations.
Reaching the standard DOES NOT guarantee entry into the meet.
CIF Prelims Meet: The winner in each Varsity event at League Finals will advance to CIF SS Div. 2 Prelim Meet. Additional entrants may be gained by making a pre-published 2nd Place, 3rd Place, or At-Large qualifying time/mark at League Finals (see below).
CIF SS Finals Meet: The nine (9) competitors with the best marks in each field event will qualify for the finals. In the running events, qualifying will be each heat winner plus the next fastest time to total nine (9) competitors advancing to the CIF Finals Meet.
CIF SS Masters Meet: The Masters Meet will have 18 qualifiers from the Divisional Championship Meets. The 4 Divisional Champions will automatically qualify into the Masters Meet along with the next best performances to get to 18 qualifiers. For track events run entirely in lanes, there will be 2 heats for each gender. For track events over 400m, there will be a single heat with 18 athletes in each heat. For horizontal field events, a maximum of 18 qualifiers will be advanced to the Masters Meet. For vertical field events, every attempt will be made to break ties for divisional placement but still may result in more than 18 qualifiers to the Masters Meet.
State Finals Meet: The top six (6) finishers in the first heat for each event will advance to the State Meet. At-Large entries will be accepted into the State Meet based on performances from both heats. See the State Meet Advance Bulletin for marks
