Shall be composed of the office(s) & organizations of the Accessibility Office, Center of Neurodiversity, Delta Alpha Pi, Active Minds, The Diabetes Link, Neurodiversity Club, Black Student Union, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Prism, and three (3) general body liaisons.
Collectively constitute the deliberative body of the union.
Meet with the chosen coordinator for their representative department once a month to discuss retention, exposure, and outreach. Any other social issues that may be affecting the Disability community that can be integrated into programs in departments.
Meet with organization representatives at bi-weekly or monthly meetings.
Coordinate the activities of the union for the purpose of achieving its objectives.
Be a source of steady communication between organizations, Rowan Disability Student Union, and departments.
Schedule meetings and arrange for meeting rooms and other necessities.
Work with individual departments to create collaborative events with organizations.
Advertise all scheduled meetings.
Maintain and coordinate the flow of information within the association.
Perform additional duties as may be mandated by this constitution.
Be relieved of its duty either collectively or individually in the failure to carry out the necessary responsibilities as stated in the constitution through the vacancy and appointment proceedings proposed by an active member and brought by a secret ballot.
Provide objective and mindful mediation in conflict resolution scenarios.
Must adhere to Rowan's Code of Conduct and Community Standards.
Must adhere and embody Article II and Article III.
Applicants must be enrolled at Rowan University.
Must be actively involved within the position applied for.
Substantial involvement in community.
Must maintain a 2.5 or higher grade point average.
