Duties:
Be a primary spokesperson for the union;
Sends emails to Rowan Senior Administration;
Serve on subcommittees for the University;
Be the officer to whom the executive board and advisor reports and coordinates with;
Delegate duties to fellow executive board members;
Lead the board in the performance of its responsibilities;
Perform such duties as directed by the constitution;
Preside over executive board meetings;
Create agendas for executive board meeting;
Have monthly meetings with advisors.

Brandon Crowell is in his Junior year of college pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Computing and Informatics. He transferred from Sussex County Community College in the fall of 2024. He now lives independently on campus despite being faced with physical challenges caused by his disability, known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). This condition is also known as osteogenesis imperfecta, also referred to as brittle bone disease.
Despite these challenges, he commits to a full-time course schedule while working as a student worker at the Office of Accessibility to provide other students assistance with applying for the accommodations they need. He is a proud member of the executive board for the Esports Club as a Social Media Manager starting Fall of 2025, in addition to being the Vice President of the RDSU. He strives to make RDSU and Rowan University as a whole inclusive of all Physical, Mental, and Learning disabilities, as every single person deserves a chance at receiving a fair and productive education.

Serve on subcommittees the president cannot serve on;
Send emails when the president is unable to do so;
Run general body meetings;
Create general body agendas and have them approved by the president.

Duties:
Perform the functions delegated to the secretary by the president;
Record, retain, and safeguard all the records of the union which includes minutes of all executive board, general body, and representative meetings;
Give notice of meetings and distribute minutes and other documents as needed;
Run representative meetings;
Create representative agendas and have them approved by the president;
Create a Rowan Disability Student Union yearly calendar;
Create monthly calendars for Rowan Disability Rowan and send them to representatives, Office of Accessibility, Center for Neurodiversity, Division of Inclusive Excellence, Community, & Belonging (IECB), Student Government Association (SGA) and SGA Assistant Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with presidents’ approval.

Duties:
Carry out responsibilities assigned by the President to support the mission and strategic goals of the RDSU;
Lead projects and initiatives related to disability advocacy and disability politics, representing the interests of the RDSU in both areas;
Research and implement advocacy and political strategies being used at other colleges and universities;
Propose and lead efforts to adapt and apply those strategies to create meaningful change on Rowan’s campus;
Monitor national disability-related political and advocacy issues;
Identify opportunities for the RDSU to take a public stance, build solidarity, and engage with broader movements affecting the disability community;
Work closely with other executive board members, especially those in advocacy, political affairs, and communications, to ensure cohesive efforts and messaging.

Duties:
Perform those functions delegated to the treasurer by the president;
Maintain and safeguard the assets of the union and the accounts and disbursements of the union’s funds.

Erwin Wambi (he/him) is a Computing & Informatics major at Rowan University, with Certificates of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) in Social Change & Social Justice and Management Information Systems (MIS). He currently serves as the Director of Events & Public Relations for the Rowan Disability Union and is the Co-President of SOUL (Shades of Unified Love), a club dedicated to creating safe spaces for queer students of color and their allies. Erwin is also the President of It’s On Us, a campus organization committed to fostering a culture of consent at Rowan, and the Secretary of the Women in Cybersecurity Club. In addition, he works with the Center for Belonging and Student Engagement as the Undergraduate Programming Coordinator and serves as a mentor for the Harley E. Flack Mentoring Program.
Duties:
Support the Executive Board by fulfilling duties delegated by the President and contributing to the strategic coordination of RDSU’s programs and messaging.
Plan and Organize Events by overseeing the logistics, scheduling, and execution of all RDSU events and activities, including general meetings, community engagements, and special programs.
Coordinate Co-Sponsorships by working with clubs, organizations, and departments to arrange partnerships and collaborative events aligned with the RDSU mission.
Lead Fundraising Initiatives in collaboration with the executive board to support the sustainability and growth of the union.
Manage Promotions and Outreach by distributing event information and organizational updates through social media platforms, the website, and GroupMe.
Collaborate on Visual Communications by working with the executive board to ensure that event flyers, digital assets, and promotional materials are created and posted in a timely and engaging manner.
Maintain Active Communication Channels by keeping members, allies, and the wider Rowan community informed of RDSU events, news, and initiatives.
Amplify RDSU Network Visibility by reposting and sharing events from affiliated organizations under the RDSU umbrella and engaging with them through approved social media interactions.

Label and date all entries made in historian document;
Keep a document with pictures and history of the union;
Keep a track of all awards and/or honors and recipients;
Make a note of annual events.
