Be clearly idenified as the League of Women Voters--wear buttons, tee shirts, etc.
DON'T forget to be non-partisan--we give information only at tables, and we never promote candidates or causes. Authorized officers of the League will speak on our issues at appropriate places and times.
Plan what you'll say to people to encourage them to register and vote. Check here for hints for people who say no.
Get photos of the event, and be sure to send them to the Voter Participation or Vote411 committee.
Be sure to remember that we can educate people who are already registered--encourage them to check their registration and polling place, and urge them to make a voting plan--and if possible, to vote early!
