CAN PEOPLE VOTE IF CONVICTED OF FELONIES IN THE PAST?
Yes, they can vote IF the following is true:
They have served their complete sentence, INCLUDING probation and parole
They have paid all court-related costs and monthly probation fees
They are otherwise eligible to register (age, citizenship, and residence where they will vote)
They complete a new registration form after release and payment of debts
Also, if evidence of completion and payment is required (not usual), it can be obtained from the courts, from the Parole Board, or from the Department of Corrections
