CAN PEOPLE VOTE IF CONVICTED OF FELONIES IN THE PAST?

Yes, they can  vote  IF the  following  is true:

• They have served their  complete sentence, INCLUDING probation and parole
  
  

• They have paid all  court-related costs and monthly probation fees
  
  

• They are otherwise eligible to  register  (age,  citizenship, and  residence where they will vote)
  
  

• They  complete  a new registration  form after release and payment of debts
  
  

• Also, if evidence of completion and payment  is required (not usual), it can be obtained from the courts,  from the Parole  Board, or from  the  Department of  Corrections
