If selected, we will try to place your scholarship at your first choice school, but due to limits on the number of scholarships that may be placed at each NROTC school, your scholarship may be placed at your second through fifth choice school.
The scholarship offer is for a specific school and may not be used at any other NROTC school without prior approval.
You must apply to, be accepted at, and enroll in your assigned school in order to utilize the scholarship.
Applying to more than just your first choice school will increase the chances for acceptance and enrollment and will therefore increase the opportunities to use a scholarship if selected.
You must select as least one school where you are eligible for In-State Tuition if there is an option available.
You can choose EITHER a Host school as a choice OR one of the cross-town affiliates associated with that host school
For example: San Diego State University is a Host School, therefore if you choose to apply to SDSU, you will not be able to also choose The University of California-San Diego or California State University-San Marcos. However, you could still choose The University of San Diego or Point Loma Nazarene University if you wanted other San Diego School choices.

Check NROTC website as more schools could be added
Room and Board is not covered by the Scholarship. However, some benefits are provided directly by or through the Universities, not the NROTC program or the U.S. Navy. Check with the schools you are interested in to see if there are any additional benefits.
