Plot

In the future Sun will burn Earth and few survivors will need to fight with terrible virus Flare without medicine. Governments of survived countries group together and create organization W.C.K.D. to create the medicine. After some time, a few people become immune to virus and W.C.K.D. tries find the medicine by recording their responses. To create those responses, they send them to the maze and erase all off their memories (one each month).

At the time when Thomas comes to maze strange things start to happen and a lot of Gladers (people who live in maze) die. Eventually they escape from maze and Phase two starts.

Setting

The maze in this film is big, made out of concrete moving walls (positon of walls changes every night). In the middle is glade, where Gladers live. There are four doors that connect glade and maze, they open in the morning and close in the afternoon.

Special Effects

The maze is full of special effects, which look perfect, some examples are:

-Moving walls

-Blades

-Grievers

Costumes

Gladers do not wear any special clothes but costumes of Grievers are really interesting.

Would you recommend it?

I would recommend this film but I think the book is better, because it has more details, however it’s hard to imagine maze as good as it’s showed in a film.
