For COLLEGE APPLICATIONS or Scholarships, please complete the Transcript Request Form located HERE . You may submit as many forms as you need transcripts. Please allow the counseling office TWO WEEKS to complete your request. Please note that you will need to have the address of the school or location you need it mailed to - if you are unsure, please just list the college name and the state of the school. If your college requires a Secondary School or High School Report, please submit that to your counselor two weeks in advance as well.
If currently enrolled students need a transcript for any other reason other than College Applications or Scholarships, please send an email to Teresa Phillips, Registrar at tphillips@rcps.org.
STUDENT RECORDS AND RECORD REQUESTS
Student records are purged each year for Record Retention purposes. All required information listed in the Library of Virginia Records Retention Schedule are scanned and saved into Paper Vision (http://www.vitalrecordscontrol.com). Normal required information to scan are the transcript, immunizations, birth certificate, testing information, attendance. Diplomas are NOT copied or scanned, the student transcript is used for verification of graduation. Please go to the MORE tab at the top of the page and select Records Management for the date of the upcoming purging of records.
