Both of these websites have a search engine that will help you find schools that match your interests.  The College Board has tons of college information and you are become eligible for their scholarships just by signing up!

For a list of all Virginia public and private universities, use the following website:

Students use Virginia Wizard (vawizard.org) during their tenth grade year to complete career assessments and begin the college search process.

Don’t exclude a college simply because it is private. Although the price tag looks high, many private schools can offer rates comparable to in-state tuition based on your academic record. Out-of-state public schools can be very expensive; however, some schools will offer you in-state tuition if you are interested in a specialized major. Go to http://www.sreb.org/page/1304/academic_common_market.html or do a web search for “academic common market” for a list of these schools.
