College Planning

There are many paths to higher education that include four-year colleges and universities, community colleges, private career colleges, trade and vocational colleges, and online colleges. Applying to institutions is a process. Students need support during this time but also need to take their own initiative. We hope to provide you with some information that can help you along the path to higher education. The counseling staff at Radford High School meets with juniors in the spring and each senior in the fall individually to help him/her identify options after graduation. Parents/guardians and students can also schedule meetings with a counselor at any point during this process.
