Revista Caparaó (ISSN 2676-0096) is committed to inclusion and accessibility in science, promoting the dissemination of knowledge across various fields. To ensure that the published content is accessible to a wide range of readers and authors, the journal strictly adheres to the ABNT standard of normalization, guaranteeing the necessary standardization for the proper dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Copyright Policy Guidelines
By publishing in this journal, authors agree to the following inclusive copyright guidelines:
1) Authors retain the copyright to their works and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, allowing free sharing, provided that authorship and initial publication in the Revista Caparaó are acknowledged.
2) Authors are free to enter into additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal, such as in institutional repositories or book chapters. In such cases, authorship and the initial publication in the journal must be acknowledged.
3) To increase the impact and visibility of their research, authors are encouraged to share their work online in institutional repositories or on personal websites, before or during the editorial process. This practice contributes to the inclusive dissemination of knowledge, fostering academic dialogue and increasing citations.
Publication Fee
During the submission process, it is necessary to ensure that the paper complies with the required standards. Otherwise, it will be returned to the authors for correction.
When submitting the paper, the author must confirm that:
1) The contribution is original and is not being reviewed by another journal.
2) The file is in Word format.
3) The text follows the style and reference guidelines described in the Author Guidelines.
4) The instructions to ensure the double-blind peer review process have been followed.
5) The Author Guidelines include:
Text structure:
1) Title in Portuguese and English; Abstract and Keywords in both languages; Main text with methodology and references in ABNT format.
2) Layout: Word document, 1.5 line spacing, Tahoma 12 font, A4 format with 2.5 cm margins. Articles must be at least 5 pages long.
The review process is conducted by two external reviewers through the Double Blind Review method, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Reviewers analyze the text, point out gaps, and suggest improvements. The editor evaluates the reviews and decides on the acceptance or rejection of the paper. After approval, the author must submit the final version along with the similarity report from software such as CopySpider.

Technical and Technological Products
We accept Technical and Technological Products in various fields of knowledge, with a special emphasis on materials that promote educational innovation and enhance the teaching-learning process. Accepted items include didactic or instructional materials, suggestions for experiments and practical activities, didactic sequences, pedagogical intervention proposals, and workshop scripts. These products should demonstrate relevance and applicability in educational contexts.
We also welcome manuals, guides, educational comics, learning objects and environments, as well as educational games. The diversity of these materials reflects our commitment to supporting creative solutions that foster the development of new teaching strategies, contributing to the creation of more dynamic and interactive learning environments.
Educational Sciences
We accept papers that comprehensively address teaching and learning, covering various educational levels and methodologies. We value studies that contribute to the understanding and innovation of pedagogical practices, as well as research that explores new approaches, strategies, and technologies applied to education.
We also encourage submissions that address challenges and solutions in the teaching-learning process, with a focus on improving educational quality. Our aim is to foster discussions that broaden the understanding of the development of competencies, skills, and methodologies geared toward a more inclusive education.
Agricultural and Biological Sciences
We accept papers that cover various fields within Agricultural and Biological Sciences, with an emphasis on innovative research and studies that contribute to scientific advancement in these areas. We are looking for papers that explore topics such as sustainability, natural resource management, biotechnology, biodiversity, and environmental health, among other relevant themes.
We encourage the submission of studies that propose solutions to the challenges faced by Agricultural and Biological Sciences, as well as research that presents new methodologies and technologies to optimize practices in these sectors. Our goal is to promote the development of knowledge that contributes to balancing scientific progress with environmental preservation.
Health Sciences
We accept papers that cover various fields of Health Sciences, emphasizing studies that promote scientific advancements and innovative solutions to the challenges faced by both public and private healthcare sectors. We strongly encourage submissions focused on disease prevention, health promotion, clinical treatments, and new therapeutic approaches, as well as research exploring the intersection of health, technology, and society.
We also seek studies that discuss health policies, hospital management, preventive care, and the impact of social and environmental factors on quality of life. Our goal is to foster the development of knowledge that contributes to the continuous improvement of healthcare services and promotes practices that ensure well-being and equity in access to care.
Exact and Earth Sciences
We accept papers that encompass various fields of Exact and Earth Sciences, focusing on research that brings significant advancements in scientific knowledge and the development of innovative technologies. We strongly encourage studies exploring topics such as applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, geosciences, meteorology, and astronomy, among others. Our goal is to support scientific production that contributes to a deep understanding of natural and technological phenomena.
Additionally, we seek research that presents solutions to global challenges, such as climate change, natural resource management, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. We value papers that propose new methodologies, models, or practical applications that can positively impact both the scientific community and society at large.
Human and Social Sciences
We accept papers that cover various fields within the Humanities and Social Sciences, valuing investigations that promote the understanding of the social, cultural, and historical dynamics that shape human interactions. We encourage studies exploring topics such as sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, education, and history, among others, seeking to contribute to a deeper understanding and the development of new perspectives on social realities.
Additionally, we welcome research that analyzes the implications of social and political practices in people's daily lives, as well as works proposing solutions to contemporary challenges faced by different communities. Our goal is to foster a critical and reflective debate that broadens understanding of social issues and promotes inclusion, justice, and equity in human relationships.
Engineering
We accept papers that cover various fields of Engineering, focusing on research that promotes technological innovations and sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges. We value studies exploring topics such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Environmental Engineering, among others. Our goal is to encourage scientific production that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and the development of practices that improve the quality of life and infrastructure in societies.
Additionally, we seek research that proposes new methods, techniques, and technologies that can be applied in engineering projects, aiming for efficiency and sustainability. Papers analyzing the intersection between engineering and other fields of knowledge, such as social sciences, economics, and the environment, are also welcome, as they can enrich the discussion and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.

Educational Objects
We accept submissions of Educational Objects that encompass various fields of knowledge, recognizing the importance of pedagogical resources that can enhance the teaching and learning process. We value materials that are innovative, interactive, and adaptable to different educational contexts, contributing to the development of essential skills and competencies in students. Additionally, we are open to proposals for Professional Master's and Doctoral Programs that seek to align theory with practice, promoting education that meets the demands of the job market and the needs of society.
We believe that the integration of Educational Objects and graduate programs can result in a more dynamic and meaningful education. Therefore, we encourage the development of projects that consider current trends in education, promote inclusion and accessibility, and foster collaboration between educational institutions and the professional sector. Our goal is to support initiatives that contribute to the ongoing training of educators and the enhancement of educational quality.
Reviews
We accept book reviews that encompass various fields of knowledge, recognizing the importance of this format for the dissemination and critical reflection on literary and academic works. We value analyses that provide an in-depth view of the content, highlighting the main arguments and contributions of the author, as well as contextualizing the work within its specific area.
