Job Description: Software Specialist

Position Pre-requisites:

Fluency in English Communication (Written and Verbal both)

Ready to work in Night Shift

Designation: Software Specialist

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

Find technical resolutions on issues or queries related to unknown or new scenarios

Meet cases resolution SLA"s

Manage relationships with clients

Work with cross-functional teams as and when required

Keep up to date with all eCW products and their enhancements

Maintain excellent customer satisfaction level

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proficient with relational databases (MySql, MsSql)

Knowledge / Experience with Java or C++ (OOPs Concepts)

Experience with Internet Protocols, HTTP / HTTPs

Default ports for HTTP / FTP / MYSQL etc

Experience with XML / XSL

Experience with Web Application Server(s)

Understanding of 3 -Tier / N-Tier Architecture

Knowledge of SQL Server 2005, 2008

Basic Knowledge of Network Concepts (VPN, Telnet, Ping, Protocols, )

Other Skills / Abilities:

Telephone etiquette

Fluency in English Communication.

Ability to balance multiple priorities

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ready to work in 24*7 Shifts

Job Description: QA – Software Testing

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

Knowledge of functional, regression and ad-hoc testing, proficiency in Manual Testing, SQL queries & SDLC Model

Work with QA Team Lead and Testing Coordinator to plan, prepare, prioritize and communicate within different teams for testing activities

Prepare test case for Unit, Functional, Load, Integration and system level. Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect

Create and review test strategy, test plan and interaction with development team and business analysts

Implementation of QA process (Define bug life cycle, release notes, sign off for UAT, and uploading it to production)

Accomplish Quality Testing of Product, Project or Module assigned.

Prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans

Review and analyze FRS/SRS/Requirement document and create scenarios/test plan for it

Review instances received through support/client feedback and take appropriate action on it

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field (such as BE, BTech, MTech, BCA, MCA, BSc IT, MSc IT)

ISTQB Certification is required before joining

Excellent knowledge on Manual Testing, proficient with relational databases (SQL

queries)

Prior testing experience (Manual/Automation) and experience in project management, from conception to delivery shall be an advantage

Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

Other Skills and Abilities:

1. Shift Timings - 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM

2. 2 Years of Service Agreement for Freshers. (No Service Agreement in case of Experienced Individuals who have 1+ years of a full time job experience)

3. DOJ - Post their final sem exam. They would have to relocate to Ahmedabad for the first 3 months to complete their training period
