ARMED REGULATION
Snap, Pop, Intensity...
What Do We Do?
Exhibition:
Members of the Armed Regulation Team learn, practice, and perform real US military armed (with rifles or swords) marching drill. As a byproduct, cadets learn coordination, unity, and teamwork, as they perfect their form and movement, as well as the discipline of handling external objects as one's own limb.
Competition:
Cadets are offered the opportunity to show off their drill skills in 'Field Meets': gatherings of multiple school NJROTC programs, as their performance is judged and graded by active military members. Cadets who choose to enter the military following high school will have networking opportunities, alongside the student comradery gained through competition
Practices:
Practices include going over the drill card and improving our coordination as a team through every movement. Practices are every Monday: 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm and Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm
