Student Life at NJROTC 

Cadets are taught valuable skills that they can implement throughout their lives. We teach self-discipline, physical fitness, leadership, the importance of teamwork, different career opportunities, and other essential skills that won't be found in the average, subject-based classroom. Among these principles, the three we hold closest to our hearts are Honor, Courage, and Commitment.  

The NJROTC program at Reseda Charter School is proud of its numerous accomplishments:

• Distinguished Unit (with Naval Honors, top 20% in the nation): 2021, 2025

• Distinguished Unit (top 30% in the nation): 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023, 2026

• Unit Achievement: 2022 & 2024

Student Teams

Reseda Charter's NJROTC offers the opportunity to participate in various teams such as the Armed and Unarmed Regulation Drill teams, Armed and Unarmed Exhibition Drill Teams, Color Guard, Raider PT (Physical Training), and Academics. 

We are also one of the handful of units that have both CyberPatriot and Marksmanship teams, two of our most prestigious teams. Additionally, our school has gotten the opportunity to introduce the Robotic Drones team.
