Start Line
Each stage's bib(and safety pins for bibs) will be given out starting 30 minutes prior to the start of the leg.
Bibs are available from the passenger side of the Race Event Vehicle.
The race event vehicle will be located near the stage's start line.
Runners should be near the start line at least 5 minutes before the start of their leg.
During the Legs
Follow the instructions of all volunteers/highway personnel on course.
Each leg is an open course. Be aware of traffic. as this is an open course.
Run facing traffic.
No littering. Keep your empty gel pack and any garbage with you or leave it at a water station.
Runners must run single-file once clearing the start line unless passing/overtaking another runner.
Move to the shoulder when there is a vehicle coming towards you.
Two(2) pylons or a race volunteer will signal when to turn.
A pylon with a "1KM Left" sticker will be placed on each leg.
Finish line will be lined with cones/pylons before reaching Atlantic Chip's timing mats.
Team Support
Teams can support runners after their runner passes the first water station of a leg.
Teams and their vehicles cannot impede the running progress of any other runner.
Teams must be parked fully off the road . This means tires are off the pavement unless there is a white line and their vehicle is parked to the right of the line.
Runners can give their support team discarded clothing and garbage.
To hand or receive something to/from your runner, cross the road safely to where they will be.
You cannot aid your runners on the Highway section of Legs 3 and 12 for your safety.
There is no water at the end each leg. Please be ready to support your runner when they finish.
