Leg 11

Leg 11: 14.9k (active transportation path then road) 50M elevation gain

We are back in PEI National Park again. Leg 11 takes you through Brackley Beach and Stanhope before exiting the National Park and running through Grand Tracadie. Most of this leg is on an active transportation path. You will pass by the historic Dalvay by the Sea, also known as Red Sands Hotel for all you Road to Avonlea fans. After exiting the park you will need to cross the road to get back on the lefthand side. The finish line lies at Grand Tracadie School(now Tall Oaks Day Care).

Start time: 1:15 A.M. Hi-Vis VEST and Headlamp required

Washrooms: Within the Parks Canada buildings

Water Stations: 5k and 10k

Parking Start Line: PEI National Parks: Brackley Beach

Parking Finish Line: Mighty Oaks Academy(old Grand Tracadie School) or on side of Rink Road and Queens Point Road
