April 2024

• Equipment purchase and testing

• Sampling WSU students before end of Spring 2024 semester

• Students vote on Dorian or Phrygian mode for 2nd movement

May - August 2024

• Evaluate samples

• Ableton Live mentoring with J. Anthony Allen 

• Begin composing re-synth

• Complete composition by mid to late August

• Prepare score and parts

September - October 2024

• Rehearse, revise work in cooperation with WSU Wind Ensemble

• Present lecture/demonstration on technology components for WSU Music Ed. Seminar 002

• Develop surveys for all participants

November - December 2024

• Give two separate performances at Fall 2024 WSU Honor Band Festival

• Survey all participants (WSU students and faculty, Honor Band students, Educators, Audiences, Mentor)

• Edit and publish performance recordings to website / share with performers and their band directors.

January - March 2025

• Compile surveys

• Presentation at MMEA Mid-Winter Convention on Thur. 2/13/25

• Promote free distribution of the piece via MN Band Directors Association (MBDA)

• Provide final report to MSAB

April - May 2025

• Create a Music Technology space at Bluffview Montessori School (Winona) with donated equipment funded by the grant
