Prayer for the Sick

Lord, you wanted your Son to bear our weaknesses to reveal the value of illness and patient endurance. Hear, then, the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. Give all who suffer pain, illness or disease the grace of realizing that your Son has chosen them to be among the ones he called blessed. Make them aware that their sufferings unite them with Christ’s passion to redeem the world. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
