Membership Fees
Due on January 1st annually.
New members joining after the 1st of January will be required to pay pro-rata.
Full Membership: for persons over 18 years, confers the right to vote at club meetings, to hold a key for the club premises and the use of all club facilities subject to the rules of the club.
Joint Membership: for persons in a marriage or civil partnership living at the same address where both wish to sail, confers the right to vote and hold a key for the First named partner only, both have the right to use all club facilities subject to the rules of the club.
Social Membership. For person(s) who do not wish to take part in sailing. It does not confer any voting rights or the right to hold a key for the club premises.
Junior Membership: for persons under the age of 18 years on the first of January of the year in which their subscription is paid, it does NOT confer voting rights nor the right to hold a key for the club premises.
Members Meetings
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the last Sunday of October.
Voting at meetings is restricted to Full members only.
Rules of Conduct
All members should show due respect to the wildlife on and around the water.
Pets belonging to members and visitors shall be kept under strict control at all times and are not allowed in the kitchen or lounge.
The club rescue boat shall be manned by two adult members. They shall wear safety equipment at all times.
Safety
In line with Health & Safety, no individual is allowed to sail on the lake without at least one other person present.
Visitors to the club facilities do so entirely at their own risk and accept that the Club will not accept liability for any loss or damage to property belonging to them.
Any Steam Powered vessel having a boiler capacity of 1 Pint (568ml) or more must have a valid boiler certificate and the owner must produce the certificate on request.
