No Account Required: You do not need to register, create an account, or log in to use any feature of this application.
100% Offline Calculations: All land measurement formulas, unit conversions (শতক, কাঠা, বিঘা, একর, হেক্টর, কানি, গণ্ডা), four-side boundary computations, multiple plot aggregations, and 16-Ana share calculations are processed locally on your device's processor.
Strict Minimum Permissions: We adhere to the Principle of Minimum Permissions. We only request permissions that are technically required for application operations (such as internet access for updates or advertisements). We never request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, phone, location, or broad external file storage.
We do NOT collect, access, or harvest:
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as real name, phone number, email address, or National Identity (NID) card numbers.
Precise or approximate GPS location data.
Contact lists, call logs, SMS messages, or calendar events.
Photos, media files, audio recordings, or camera feeds.
Land deed numbers, khatian records, or private plot ownership details that you calculate inside the application.
The application stores certain non-sensitive user preferences and calculation records exclusively on your device's local memory (SharedPreferences and secure storage):
Calculation History:
When you explicitly tap "Save Result" (হিসাব সংরক্ষণ করুন), the calculation type, input dimensions, resulting area, and a local timestamp are saved solely on your device.
This information never leaves your device.
You can review, delete individual entries, or permanently wipe the entire history at any time using the "সব মুছুন" (Clear All) button in the History screen.
Regional Land Unit Settings:
Bangladesh features regional variations in traditional land units (such as Katha variations in Sylhet vs. Dhaka vs. Chattogram).
Any customized unit conversions you define are stored locally on your device and can be reset to default at any time.
User Preferences:
Your preferred display theme (Light, Dark, or System mode) and language selection (Bangla or English) are stored locally.
App Lock & Security PIN (Optional):
If you choose to enable the App Lock feature, your 4-digit PIN is encrypted using hardware-backed cryptographic storage (FlutterSecureStorage using Android Keystore / iOS Keychain). Raw PINs or passwords are never stored.
If you use Biometric Authentication (fingerprint or face unlock), verification is managed entirely by your operating system’s secure hardware enclave. The application never accesses or stores your raw biometric templates.
The application requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its features:

When copying calculation results or sharing them with family, friends, or surveyors, the application uses Android's native clipboard and system share sheet, requiring zero storage permissions.
While all core calculator utilities run completely offline, the application may interact with trusted third-party SDKs for platform functionality:

The app may display non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdMob to support continuous development.
AdMob may process anonymous device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, and general diagnostic information to deliver relevant ads and detect fraud.
Where legally mandated (such as the European Economic Area / UK), we implement Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and respect your consent preferences for personalized vs. non-personalized advertising.

Used to inform you when a newer version of Jomi Hisab BD is available on the Google Play Store so that you receive critical updates and bug fixes promptly. It queries the public Play Store metadata without transmitting personal data.
Jomi Hisab BD is a general utility calculator designed for students, landowners, surveyors, and general citizens of all ages.
The application does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). If you believe that your child has provided personal information through third-party ad interaction, please contact us immediately.
Local Control: All stored calculation history, regional configurations, and settings remain solely on your device.
Manual Deletion: You can clear calculation records at any time within the app's History tab.
App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the application automatically and permanently deletes all stored data and configurations from your device.
Because we do not operate a remote user account database, there is no remote user data retained on any server.
Important Notice: Jomi Hisab BD (জমি হিসাব) is an independent utility application and is NOT an official government app.
It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way connected to the Ministry of Land (ভূমি মন্ত্রণালয়), Bangladesh Land Reform Board, Directorate of Land Records and Surveys (DLRS), or any government agency.
All calculations, conversion tables, and surveying guidelines are intended solely for educational, informational, and general estimation purposes.
Land boundary measurements, regional unit conventions, and registration fee structures can vary across districts and sub-districts. For official legal transactions, boundary demarcation, or dispute resolutions, users are advised to consult a certified government surveyor (Amin) and verify records at the relevant Sub-Registry and Upazila Land Office (AC Land).
We prioritize data security by executing calculations locally and avoiding external data transmission. For optional security features (such as App Lock), your PIN is encrypted using industry-standard OS keystores. Please ensure your physical device is properly secured with a screen lock.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to our app, platform updates, or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted to this page with an updated "Effective Date". We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
