Your privacy and security are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines how Bangla Keyboard operates, what permissions it uses, and our strict commitment to protecting your personal information and privacy.
Zero Keystroke Logging: We do NOT monitor, log, record, store, or transmit anything you type (including passwords, credit card numbers, messages, emails, or personal conversations).
No Internet Access: Bangla Keyboard does NOT require or declare internet permissions (android.permission.INTERNET). The app cannot connect to the internet, guaranteeing that your data never leaves your device.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use this application.
No Advertising or Analytics Trackers: The App contains no third-party ad networks, analytics SDKs, or background telemetry trackers.
Bangla Keyboard functions as a genuine Android system keyboard through Android's official InputMethodService framework:
Direct Input: Your keystrokes are passed directly to the active application on your screen via Android's secure InputConnection API.
Password Protection: When typing inside secure password fields (TYPE_TEXT_VARIATION_PASSWORD, TYPE_TEXT_VARIATION_VISIBLE_PASSWORD, or TYPE_NUMBER_VARIATION_PASSWORD), word learning and suggestions are automatically disabled. Passwords are never remembered or stored.
Bangla Keyboard only utilizes the minimum essential system permissions required to provide keyboard functionality:

Used strictly and exclusively when you explicitly tap the 🎤 (Microphone) button to convert speech into text. Audio is processed directly on-device using Android's native SpeechRecognizer API and is never recorded, stored, or sent to external servers.
Personal Dictionary: Any custom words you choose to add to your personal dictionary are saved strictly in your device’s local storage. They are used exclusively to improve offline word suggestions for you and are never shared.
Clipboard History: The offline clipboard viewer saves recently copied text locally on your device for quick paste access. This data remains on your device and is never uploaded anywhere. You can clear your clipboard history at any time with a single tap.
The App contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect or share user data.
The companion application includes an informational link to the developer’s portfolio (rahulreza.com). If you visit external websites through links provided in the app, their respective privacy policies will apply.
Bangla Keyboard is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not collect, store, or process personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
