- ABOUT -
This project was created in my 2nd semester of my 1st year using Unreal Engine 4. During my time at university, I learnt many ways of mapping in order to plan out how my level would look before heading into the engine. I used a range of different maps such as Pixel Maps, Bubble Maps and Beats and Pace Maps. All these were used to help my documentation skills and develop a clear differentiation between each of the maps. The main goal for this project was to use the assets and textures we were given and develop and fully functional fun and interactive game. The inspiration behind this was the successful game 'Doom' this can be shown not only from the overall look of the game but also the use of key cards in order to progress to new stages in the level.
- GAMEPLAY -
A first person shooter where you must travel through unknown grounds on a mission to find and destroy all enemies surrounding the area and escape. As you progress, you have opportunities to find stronger weapons and receive stronger abilities. The playstyle of the game is fast paced and constantly keeps the player on the move adding different enemies to each room you enter.
