Suffolk County Council manage the formal public consultation process, which Quiet Lanes Suffolk assist.
For the current QLS Programme, we anticipate up to four public consultation windows over the 12 month timescale:
Phase 1 - Trial Process: commencing 20 November 2020 through to end of 11 December 2020
Restricted to Glemsford and Snape Parishes
The purpose is to test the new process and create template documentation for use in Phase 2
Phase 2 - Mass Designation - refer to The Plan for dates:
Wave 1: 2021Q1 - The initial batch of bulk designations to be consulted on
Wave 2: 2021Q2 - The second batch of designation requests, subject to available resources, time and funds
Wave 3: 2021Q3 - The final batch of designation requests, subject to available resources, time and funds

A copy of the order and maps showing the lengths of road affected, together with the Council’s reasons, can be provided via email or can be viewed at Constantine House, 5 Constantine Road, Ipswich, IP1 2DH, by prior appointment.
