Validation Layer Key

PARISHES Status:

• 2014 Pilot Parishes = the original AONB sponsored pilot lanes designated in 2014 

• Designation: Phase 1 Pilot + Phase 2 Waves 1/2/3/4 = when parish has confirmed all individual lane schedules, together with post signage details / costs, for inclusion in the formal notice of designation

• Expressions of Interest = Parishes who were unable to complete the designation process before the deadlines for this round of funding, to be considered later in the programme if time, resources and funding is available, and as an indication of remaining demand for any future projects to progress

• Withdrawn = quiet lane nomination are no being applied for by the parish

LANES status:

• Backlog = late entry or additional requests received after the deadlines for this round of funding, to be considered later in the programme if time, resources and funding is available, and as an indication of remaining demand for any future projects to progress

• Consultation = lane is actively being considered prior to formal designation submission

• Designation: Wave1/2/3 = lane is actively in scope for the formal designation process, by Wave batch

• EOI - Individual lane expressions of interest, not yet assessed for validation

• Not suitable = Highways assessment of suitability which we'd recommend are withdrawn from the process

• Proceed = suitable for local consultation & open public meeting to commence by parish lead volunteers

• Traffic audit = Highways to review historical traffic data,
  and the lane is in principle suitable so you can proceed assuming these lanes will be ok unless otherwise advised

• Traffic survey = Highways to arrange for formal traffic flow and speed survey (up to 2 allowed for each parish)
  and the lane is in principle suitable so you can proceed assuming these lanes will be ok unless otherwise advised

• Under review = Highways require further consideration time,  suggested you wait until the review has concluded and you've been informed 

• Wave1/2/3/4 = when parish has consulted locally, confirmed all individual lane schedule details together with post signage details / costs, for inclusion in the formal notice of designation for the relevant Wave timeline (website for details)

• Withdrawn = specific lane no longer being pursued
