In this first tutorial topic, some Book Reviews will be used to explain the "problem solving" issues. (For second topic, I still provide some reference books, but mainly introduce my personal journey of studying quantum intelligence.) Although somewhat academic, I try to explain it in plain text. I will introduce them here in English, with the other Facebook fan page in Chinese. If you are interested, you can also go to these two Facebook fan pages to enjoy and learn:
"Champion's Marathon" (Chinese) https://www.facebook.com/TheMarathonOfChampions/. This fan page was originally a "victor" website for me to teach problem management and emotional management for first-year junior high school students. Recently, it also talked about some college and graduate studies and employment issues. I hope they can learn something from these two issues.
"Quantum Intelligence Association" (English) https://www.facebook.com/Quantum-Intelligence-Association/ (The English version of the entire content is also under the Tutorials main menu of the Quantum Intelligence Association website https://sites.google.com/view/quantum-intelligence/tutorials)
The first topic reviews problem solving aspects based on books
• “The 8th Habit” by Stephen Covey
• “Paths of Change” by Will McWhinney
• “On Purposeful System” and “The Art of Problem Solving” by Russell L. Ackoff
• “The Fifth Discipline Field book” by Peter Senge, et al.
• “Soft Systems Methodology in Action” by Peter Checkland
• “Signals and Boundaries” by John Holland
The authors are the masters in their respective domains of management science. The years of the books seem old, but they represent a school of thoughts ignored by most of us: an important message regarding holism, emergence and creativity. Our mission is to implement them in artificial intelligence (AI) and / or quantum intelligence (QI). The material provided here is fundamental to understand how AI & QI can be applied.
