Our learners recently attended the PYP Exhibition – Vasudev Kutumbakam, organized by the Grade 5 learners at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli. The exhibition centered around the theme 'Sharing the planet'. Our learners appreciated the innovative displays and engaging presentations, gaining valuable insights into diverse ways to present and showcase their own knowledge. They explored exhibits located throughout the school, attentively listening to their fellow learners share their inquiry journeys.
On February 8, 2024, our enthusiastic group of PYP 5 students embarked on a captivating field trip to T Works, fully immersed in the spirit of inquiry. Their primary objective for this trip was to engage in a collective brainstorming session aimed at generating innovative ideas for the creation of prototypes addressing the issues they have identified for our PYPX project. Throughout the day, the dynamic environment of T Works provided them with invaluable opportunities to delve deeply into the process of ideation. The experience was both enlightening and empowering as we moved through the various stages of prototype development, from initial concept to practical application.
Moreover, the trip served as a catalyst for personal growth and development as they worked with real-world issues, by applying their newfound knowledge and skills in problem-solving to propose viable solutions.
As they reflect on their time at T Works, they are filled with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead. Armed with a deeper understanding of prototype creation and the confidence to tackle complex challenges, they are eager to continue their exploration.
Our virtual expedition to Gaudium School's PYP Exhibition was a journey of discovery and enlightenment that left an indelible impression on our minds.
