Executive Director's Office

The Executive Director’s Office (EDO masterminds the realization of the strategic vision in the the Open University System administration and strategy in all the eight (8) units. It builds the leadership roles and train employees to attain its vision. Its spearheads the task of developing organizational culture, supervising heads of departments, creating strategic plans, in order to improve performance. The EDO reports directly to the university President and the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, and has a directly link to the office of the President (OP).

The office likewise takes the lead in collaborating with the institute Directors, the Head and Chiefs of offices in implementing the strategic plans to establish network and linkages with stakeholders.

The eight (8) units under the Executive Director’s Office are:

  1. Institute of Open and Distance Education (IODE)

  2. Institute of Non-Traditional Study Program (INE)

  3. Institute of Continuing Professional Development (ICPD)

  4. Student Services Office (SSO)

  5. Learning Management System Office (LMSO)

  6. Center for Accreditation, Research and Extension (CARE)

  7. Center for Gender and Development (CGAD)

  8. Instructional Materials Development Office (IMDO)
